I've been on and off Birchington ward for the past 12 weeks, with them being unsure of what to do and what is wrong. I am currently working with a solicitor for a claim for negligence for the treatment I have recieved.

Great staff very caring considerate especially at night when peace and quiet is appreciated. Always efficient and accomodating when needed for help with everything fully recommended a thumbs up from me THANKYOU everyone who participated with my care and recovery after my hysterectomy

Miscommunication in ward. Not fully aware of patient needs and unaware of letters and requests from other hospital. Placed with other patients with high dependency geriatric needs, leading no sleep and unnecessary stress.

I have never been in hospital before or undertaken surgery, therefore this experience was very new and frightening for me. However, the staff at QEQM have been excellent, they have been supportive and have explained all the procedures and processes.
I am very grateful for the service received and for the professional, caring staff on Birchington ward. The nurses have been excellent and I am very grateful to them all.
I have no suggestions for improvements but to keep doing what you do so well.

Absolutely amazing staff, fantastic care, always made sure we were comfortable, had what we needed. Friendly always smiling. Each time I've been to the ward I've recieved the same care each and every time and can always be rest assured we will get the care we need. Even the cleaners are fantastic (Tina Hughes) fantastic lady!

The nursing staff is highly skilled and very professiona.
The ward is cleaned nicely.
The meals provided are surprisingly tasty.
All were very kind and helpful.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to DR Shervington and his medical team for my surgery on 29th April 2015. A very big thank you to all the nurses for the great aftercare that I received following my surgery. Thank you to the newspaper trolley ladies, and Rita the lady who cheerfully delivered all my meals, which were all very good. I would highly recommend Birchington ward, all my needs and expectations were met with great care.
